Notice of Open Seat on ACC Committee

Are you interested in being more involved in our community and want to help maintain the harmony and look of Castlewood?

Castlewood Homeowners’ Association, Inc., has one seat open on the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). The ACC was established to maintain the overall compatibility of exterior property improvements with the conceptual plan of the Association.

We are in need of 1 volunteer to fill the open position on the ACC. If you are interested in joining this Committee, please email your community manager, Jennifer Hansen, to request an application.  Your completed ACC Member candidate form should be returned to the community manager at  jhansen@spectrumam.com by April 20, 2022 at 5:00 pm.

With new legislative changes that took effect on September 1, 2021, homeowners wishing to serve on the ACC are unable to:

– Be a current board member

– A spouse of a board member

– A person living with a current board member

Committee duties take approximately an hour a week and most tasks and communication are done online. Duties primarily include, but are not limited to:

– Reviewing submitted exterior property improvement requests

– Referencing the HOA governing documents and policies for compliance

– Conferring with other committee members through the association portal

– Providing decision by voting on submitted improvement requests through the portal

Remember, members of the ACC serve an important role in helping maintain the harmony and beauty of the community.

Applications must be submitted by April 20, 2022 at 5:00 pm in order to be considered.
