HOA Amenities

Castlewood provides its residents with a variety of amenities

Clubhouse

The recently updated Clubhouse consists of a living space with a fireplace, flat screen TV, and a full kitchen.  The Clubhouse Capacity is 86. If you would like to reserve the clubhouse, please check the calendar for availability. If available, use the Amenity reservations form to make your request.

Junior Olympic / Wading Pools

The pool is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days a week from May 1st through September 30th.

Note: There are no lifeguards on duty – swim at your own risk.

The pool area is fitted with surveillance cameras that are intended to stop and/or reduce vandalism against the facility only. It is a recording device for the facility and is not monitored by a security company. The cameras are not intended to be used for personal or safety purposes.

Pool cards are available for residents at the clubhouse office, or you can request a card here.  The first card is free and additional and/or replacement cards are $10 each, payable by credit card only.

Pool Pavilion

Opened May 2013, the pavilion offers a shady escape while enjoying the pool. A portion of the pavilion may be reserved by contacting the community manager.  If you would like to reserve the pavilion, please check the calendar for availability. If available, use the Amenity reservations form to make your request.

Tennis and Basketball Courts

The tennis courts are available on a first come first serve basis. The tennis courts have lights on a timer that can be turned on manually and will then turn off automatically. The light controller is located on the pole next to the gate. There is one practice backboard located on the back court. We recently added two pickleball courts and two pickleball nets. Residents must have an access card to enter the area.

The basketball courts are also first come first serve. Please be respectful of the area and dispose of your trash properly. The nearest trash can is located on the sidewalk by the playground.

Park and Playground

New playground equipment was installed in the fall of 2011. The swings were added in the fall of 2014. The park includes a park bench, tether ball, and a picnic table. A Little Free Library was added in 2018 and was the result of a project completed by an Eagle Scout living in the community. Readers of all ages are encouraged to come and browse the available books while enjoying the park as well as to share gently loved books for others to enjoy!

Soccer Field and Volleyball Court

The soccer field is available on a first come first basis except during the spring and fall soccer season. During this time, teams may reserve a portion of the field for evening practices. A soccer field use agreement is required to reserve space on the field and reservations can only be made by Residents in good standing with the association. If you would like to reserve the soccer field, please check the calendar for availability. If available, use the Amenity reservations form to make your request. The volleyball court is available to residents of Castlewood on a first come first serve basis.
