Important Association Updates

Dear Residents,

Beginning April 5, 2021, the on-site office will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. On June 1, 2021, the office will resume normal business hours and be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Residents can continue to do business with the community manager via phone, email, or text. Masks are required in the office or for any face-to-face meetings in which social distancing cannot be maintained. The community manager can be reached at jhansen@spectrumam.com or you can call or text at 972-236-6214. Many of your questions can be answered by visiting the newly updated community website at www.castlewoodhoa.com.  The on-site office phone is 972-317-2457.

The BOD has voted to remove occupancy restrictions at both the pool and the clubhouse effective immediately. Residents may make reservations for the pavilion and bring guests to the pool for the upcoming pool season which begins May 1, 2021 and runs through October 1, 2021. Please remember that the pool itself cannot be reserved. The pool remains open to residents 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. regardless of any reservation at the clubhouse or the pavilion. To submit a reservation request, click here or visit www.castlewoodhoa.com. Residents can check for availability by visiting the community calendar. Reservations are not confirmed or added to the community calendar until the community manager has received a completed rental agreement and all relevant payments including deposits and associated rental fees.

The BOD is excited to announce that residents will now have the option to pay for pool cards and reservations using a credit card either on-site in the office, online, or over the phone. Once a pool card request or reservation request has been made, residents will be sent an invoice by email and can either pay using the link provided, visit the office and pay in person, pay over the phone by credit card, or pay by check.

New residents receive one free pool card. Existing residents can purchase replacement pool cards or additional pool cards for $10 each. Information can be found here.

The BOD and the Social Committee are working to reinstate community events moving forward. Both the BOD and the Social Committee will review guidance from the CDC to ensure that these events will not only be fun but safe for residents as well. Watch your inbox, check out the latest edition of the Castlewood Connection, or visit the community website for the latest news on upcoming events. The BOD and the Social Committee are currently planning a combined celebration for residents of all ages in August. This event will celebrate the end of summer 2021, the return to school for the kids, and include elements of the annual Pig Roast traditionally held in May.

The association encourages residents and their guests to continue to adhere to CDC guidelines while using the associations facilities including but not limited to maintaining social distancing from those outside your home, frequent hand washing, and mask wearing when social distancing is not possible.

Thank you,

Castlewood Board of Directors
